I was unsure how our new classes would go after the school holidays.  With such a limted budget it was hard to get the word out about our new Little Dragons Muay Thai and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu classes. 

We have our flights booked, accomodation organised and we are both excited about going to Adelaide on the 23rd of August for the BJJ National Championships. 

Geordie is back in Gladstone on the 1st of August for a BJJ Seminar.

Daniel Lima will be back in town for a full weekend of training in BJJ, No-Gi BJJ and MMA on the 8th & 9th of August.

We have booked in our venue and have started preparations for our grappling tournament in September.

He was only here for a few hours but I sure got a lot out of Geordie Lavers-McBain's visit on the weekend.

It has been well over a year since we have used the coloured level system in our Muay Thai class but it was worth the wait with a small but high quality start to the new ICS Muay Thai system on Saturday. 

With the AFBJJ Nationals coming up at the end of August, and a few of our guys putting up their hand to have a go we are going to be doing some extra training on Saturday mornings. 

On his way through town, Peter "Bull" Hickmott dropped into our gym for the night to offer a helping hand in our MMA session last night. 

After initially planning to take a team of 6 to 8 to the Grappling and MMA tournament in Toowoomba on the weekend, work, injuries and family issues took their toll and only Harley ended up making the trip on the weekend.
