It was a smaller group testing than we had originally thought, due to illness, injury and work schedules, but those who tested on the day did an excellent job and showed good allround MMA games.
With tired and sore bodies from the long day before, a small group staggered in to the gym early on Sunday morning for the third ground seminar this year with Daniel Lima.
It looks like we will be off to Toowoomba for their local submission grapple and MMA tournament in July. We have a few names down and even have some matches for a few of our juniors as well so it should be a great weekend.
It has come to my attention that a few of our members have been calling Mr Reilly from the Zen Chi Ryu club this week to find out if they can attend the 10th Planet Jiu Jitsu seminars on the 20th of June. I wanted to ask you all to please stop calling Mr Reilly about this. I contacted him earlier this year to find out if we would be able to attend and I was told that it was a private seminar for people in his school and other invited special guests only.
