The camp is filling up quickly with an amazing amount of interest from other gyms and groups in our region.

There is only 1 week now until Eilleen and little Michael step into the Muay Thai ring to battle it out.  Eilleen has been training so hard and I am amazed and very happy in her improvement over the last 3 weeks.

I just recieved an email from Tekan in Thailand as her and Luke train at a Thaiboxing camp for a couple of months.

I just recieved the details for the Queensland Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Championships to be held in Brisbane on July 26th.

Here is the poster with the details for the fight show at the end of this month.  Both Eilleen "Thunder Kick" Forrest and Michael "Mighty Boy" Carr are matched to fight modified Muay Thai on the undercard with a super heavy weight elimination competition and female Australian Title fight as the main events.

11 year old Little Dragon student - Michael "Mighty Boy" Carr is matched to fight on the Muay Thai fight show in Hervey Bay on the 31st of May along side Eilleen Forrest.

Great news for our sports guys, with fantastic new coverage of Muay Thai and Mixed Martial Arts on Fox 8 and also Fox Sports.

Sparring will be this Saturday morning at 8.30am.  The session will go for about 2 hours and will include stand up, clinch and ground work.  This is an open mat session so people from other clubs and styles are more than welcome to attend.

Eilleen is now a QLD State Champion in Kyokushin Full Contact Karate after beating two Black Belts to win the middle weight open belt division on the Gold Coast on Sunday.

With the news that Eilleen has been match to fight MMA on August the 2nd, this means that we will not be going to the Australian Kyokushin Titles in July.
