Peter "Bull" Hickmott is hosting another one of his very succesful tournaments in mid March in Toowoomba. This year he has decided to hold the event over two days due to the growing numbers of competitors. This means the no-gi submission grappling tournament will run on the Saturday and the C-Class MMA tournament will run on the Sunday.
This is a great way for our guys to get some quality rolling in before the Gold Coast and Brisbane BJJ championships later on. But I highly recommend that anyone who has any interest in competing in MMA give this tournament a go as well. C-Class rules are a much safer way to get your feet wet but still experience the full on nature of what MMA competition really is - this is the perfect entry point for first time MMA'ers.
I would like to take a small team to Toowoomba for this so if you are interested in competing please let me know asap. I will also put up a notice in the gym. Check out the rules below and ask me any questions you may have.
