Firstly let me say how much I am enjoying teaching and training at the moment, we have such a great bunch of people in our gym and the atmosphere is fantastic because of it.

The new 5.30pm start time for our Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Zen Do Kai classes have been a brilliant change.  It really has created so much more opportunity to train not only more concepts in a session, but to cover each concept in more depth.

I just wanted to say a very big thank you to those of you who came in to help me out with the gym renovations on Saturday. 

He wasn't expected to do very well against his much more experienced opponent but Grant showed his future potential with an outstanding effort last weekend.

I have had some questions recently (mostly from the MMA & Zen Do Kai) about the cost for "1 Style Only" members to attend an extra 1 or 2 classes a week in Jiu Jitsu or Muay Thai.   Previously we had no options for these members other than to upgrade to an "Unlimited" membership or to pay the casual fee of $20 just like non-members.

I don't like classes that go for 1 hour.  Not only do I think that I cannot teach enough in that time, but I also think that students can't train enough in one hour.  So, from the 1st of August, all adult and teen classes will be for 1 and a 1/2 hours.

Grant is having his second Muay Thai fight this weekend in Rockhampton.

Frankie Barca took it to another level on the weekend with another fantastic weekend of seminars.

Our BJJ and MMA coach is making his return to the cage on August 27th at the NITRO MMA show in Brisbane.
